This process is slow and leads to worsened financial status of the people who cooperate, therefore impossibility for further treatment of the sick children. “PROtegni raka” paid for medications for the amount of 123,66 leva.

Stelyan Bartuchiyski is 3 years old from Karlovo. The diagnosis he was given when he was 2 with a serious delay is Child Hemiplegia. It is expressed in difficult movement of the right arm and leg. With active rehabilitation the child feels much freer in his moves. “Protegni raka” helped Stelyan with 1674 leva for psychotherapeutic sessions, (montesor) therapies and kinesitherapies.

Darina Hamova is 5 years old from Haskovo. During the suckling period she stays behind with her motorial development. She starts walking when she is almost 2 years old. She has limited dorsal flexion in her left ankle joint. At the moment she walks forward with orthopedic shoes, goes up and down stairs, one leg always leading and holding with both hands. She needs permanent rehabilitations to improve her movements and “Protegni raka” helped her with 1000 leva.

Tsvetomir Tsvetkov is four and a half years old from Sofia. In 2007 “Protegni raka” paid for a liquor-draining valve, which was put with a surgery. This year the fund granted 1000 leva for procedures for Tsvetomir.

Dian Dinkov is 5 years old form Haskovo. During his birth his right arm is damaged and stays paralyzed. The injury is found out right after Dian was born and since then the treatment hasn’t stopped. It is expressed in carrying out rehabilitation and physiotherapeutic procedures. They are carried out once in two months with 10 days duration each. The fund is engaged to take the expenses from these procedures- 263 leva for 10-days procedures.

Georgi Milchev was born with weight of only 900g. On 21st of December, 2007 a Cryotherapy on both eyes is done. Unstick of the retina is ascertained. At the moment he needs a surgical treatment for improving of the vision, which will be done in a clinic in Russia. “Protegni raka” is engaged to finance partially the surgery.

Rosen Karamfilov is 15 years old and suffers from Child Cerebral Paralysis. He goes to an ordinary school and his mental development is normal. He moves with a wheelchair which is fully amortized and very heavy. The 600 hundred leva due to the state are not enough for the wheelchair, which Rosen needs and costs 2600 leva. “Protegni raka” granted 2000 leva for a wheelchair.

Anastasia Rangelova is a 13 year old girl from Plovdiv. He suffers from Microcephalia, Child Cerebral Paralysis and symptomatic Epilepsy. She needs resources for the buying of a wheelchair, which will ease her movement. “Protegni raka” granted 1500 leva for that.

Doan Hodzhov was born with a diagnosis perinatal asphyxia, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopatia 3rd stage as a result of complicated pregnancy and hard birth. The child has been hospitalized many times for medication treatment and kinesitherapy in the Neurology clinic in Sofia. The doctors’ recommendations are for a permanent rehabilitation, medication treatment and monthly hospitalization, so the child’s condition does not worsen. The fund granted 1000 leva for Doan,s rehabilitation.

Vaskes is 5 years old from Gorno Damyanovo, Montana. 7-8 months after he was born a falling behind in his development is found, the child cannot sit, cannot walk independently- a diagnosis Child Cerebral Paralysis is given. Monthly rehabilitation procedures are needed, so Vaskes’ balance reactions can improve. “Protegni raka” granted 1000 leva for the rehabilitation of Vaskes.

Dimitar Nikolov is two and a half years old from Pazardzhik. He has a twin sister. Mitko suffers from Child Cerebral Paralysis and he has a permanent need for help from others. His disease was found 6-7 months after he was born. “Protegni raka” granted 1000 leva which can cover the expenses for rehabilitation, kinesitherapy, electro stimulations, termogeo and logopedist.

Vladimir Tronkov is only ten months old. He suffers from Child Cerebral Paralysis. Vladi needs a monthly hospitalization- carrying out specialized rehabilitation- consultations with psychologist, logopedist, physiotherapy. “Protegni raka” granted 1000 leva for the rehabilitation.
