Rumyana Georgieva was born from a third pathological pregnancy in depressive condition. She spent 20 days in an infant incubator. During the suckling period and after that she falls behind with her psychomotor development. She takes regularly rehabilitation courses. Surgical corrections have been made in order to be improved the motive status. Last year the fund financed the rehabilitation for Rumyana. This year resources are granted for a second time for continuing the rehabilitation procedures of the child.
Aleksander and Konstantin Sirakovi are two years old from Smolyan. After a hard and really early birth process they suffer from Child Cerebral Paralysis. The doctors recommend permanent Kinesitherapy, barochamber and other procedures, which according to them will improve the children’s condition. The fund helps for the rehabilitation of the two children for the second time.
Yanitsa Valcheva is 10 years old, prematurely born and as a result of treatment in an infant incubator she has completely lost her left eye sight and retinopathy 4th degree of the right eye. After a treatment in Ophthalmic clinic, Kaluga, Russia, Yanitsa starts seeing near and goes to school along with the other children. The parents of the child asked for help from the fund to finance the serial treatment course.
Nina Nikolova is almost 11 years old and has a twin sister. The prematurely born children spend 3 months in an infant incubator. They have been discharged from hospital with epicrisis where is pointed that they are perfectly healthy. Four months after they were born their parents notice that Galya does not react to light and Nina starts to have cramps. After long wandering about the hospitals they get the hard diagnosis: Galya- Fibroplasia retrolentalis (coming off of the retina- both eyes harmed- a complete loss of the eyesight) and Nina- Child Cerebral Paralysis, spastic Quadriparesis, Epilepsy- West syndrome. The fund helped for the buying of a wheelchair for Nina Nikolova.
Antonia Toneva was born via Section and nearly right after that she develops respiratory distress. Two and a half months later is given a diagnosis status post RDS (respiratory distress syndrome), premature birth, light dilatation of the ventricules. 8 months after she was born Antonia enters a hospital with a diagnosis Salmonellosis. The fund finances the procedures for improving the child’s psychomotor development.
Georgi Hristov is four years old. Six months after his birth is when the doctors give him the diagnosis Child Cerebral Paralysis. Since then a treatment has been taken which aims for getting over the backwardness in his motive activity and mental development. The fund helped financially for the rehabilitation of little Georgi.
